Kung Hei Fat Choy!

Wow, what a hot one it has been this  year with temperatures hovering between the high 30′s and low 40′s.  Certain parts of NSW were forecasted to hit 47C today, making it the hottest place on earth! Thankfully this will be the last of it with a cool change expected with 20C drops the following week.

This summer will definitely be the hottest I’ve experienced as I’m usually back in either Singapore or Malaysia to celebrate Xmas, New Year and Chinese New Year. I decided to stay back this year due to work and other commitments but it has been worth it, although, my ang bao (red packet) collection duties this year has been severely affected

Although celebrating without family and friends back home I had a blast this past 2 weeks! Crazy amounts of food, drinks and I’m still up for this year’s CNY gambling season! Of course, there couldn’t be anything better than having a great time celebrating with friends, both old and new ones. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of each other since we have so many things already planned for months to come!
